RealOne Player This is required to view and listen to each of the Video Grand Round presentations. You can download the FREE player at http://www.real.com. ** Make sure you download the FREE Player by clicking on the "Free RealOne Player" link in the gray bar in the middle of the page. Clicking the orange "FREE" or the "DOWNLOAD NOW" buttons will take you to a site for a 7-day trial of the full software which will require a credit card. It runs on Windows, Macintosh, and UNIX/Linux platforms. For this project it is recommended that you use either the Windows or Macintosh platform. ** RealOne is NOT compatible with Windows 95 . You will need to install Real Player 8 Basic from http://proforma.real.com/real/player/blackjack.html. There is also a Premium player available for $9.95/month. This is NOT required. The free player is all that is necessary. Once RealOne Player is installed, click on one of the links below to test the configuration:
Internet Connection Any connection to the internet will work. Two versions of each presentation will be available depending on your type of internet connection. A "hi" version for those using a high-bandwidth connection such as a LAN, T1, cable-modem, or DSL. The "lo" version will be available for those connecting to the internet via a dial-up connection. Audio/Sound The computer used to access the presentation will need to have sound working to hear the presentations.
